In 2016 Emma had the idea for The Cambridge Art Book, which would show her adopted city through the eyes of over 50 local artists the city inspires. Through a fabulous mix of contemporary media and styles the Cambridge Art Book, published by UIT was so successful that work began on The Oxford Art Book. Fast forward to 2020 and the series now includes The Edinburgh, Liverpool and Dublin Art Books, with The Bristol and Bath Art Book coming next. As the series has grown, with a portfolio of over 350 artists work on show, more books are planned to show iconic cities through the eyes of the artists they inspire. vibrant images In creating and editing the City Art Books, Emma has the privilege of working with artists but also the many celebrities who kindly endorse books which are about their cities. Emma has designed all book covers using a mixture of hand cut collage and digital design.
